We’re looking for a Business Operations Manager (Brokerage Ops) to identify and pull the levers to move our Brokerage business forward as part of our growing Business Operations team. You’ll work to optimize processes for our Brokerage business, one of our fastest growing services. In your role, you’ll be responsible for working with the team to set quarterly objectives, standardize business metrics and reporting, and defining our Brokerage strategy going forward.

The ideal candidate has a strong interest in the benefits and insurance industries and driven transformational business outcomes in the past. We’re looking for a strong project manager who is comfortable with using data to drive key business insights and willing to roll up their sleeves to get things done.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the point of contact for Brokerage operations
  • Define and optimize changes in our Brokerage processes and workflows, and identify new opportunities to help make the Brokerage team more effective in sales & post-sales
  • Collaborate on quarterly objectives and drive the team to hit key milestones to increase sales, manage churn, and increase efficiency
  • Build and help to standardize business reporting for strategic analysis and internal business review of our Brokerage business
  • Refine customer segmentation and help create a plan to enhance renewal and upsell processes for our Brokerage business

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Business Operations, Sales Operations, or another operational and analytical role
  • Previous experience in or strong interest in the benefits/insurance industries
  • Ability to understand high-level strategy, translate them into process and system requirements, and ensure local execution and business impact
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to extract key business insights through data analysis
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity using key business systems like Salesforce to extract key metrics
