About This Position

As the Business Strategy and Operations Manager at Ellevest you will play a vital role at the fastest-growing NYC financial technology startup committed to reinventing financial services for women. In this position, you will work directly with the Director of Private Wealth Management to support all aspects of PWM business planning, platform development, and business growth. You will work collaboratively across multiple departments including Private Wealth Management, Investments, Operations, Product, and Compliance.

Responsibilities

You will:

• Lead business critical initiatives, with responsibility for both defining and executing strategy with the help of cross-functional stakeholders
• Support the head of private wealth management in all aspects of business planning and reporting
• Work with head of private wealth to define and maintain key performance indicators 
• Manage internal communications with key stakeholders across the company
• Lead efforts for scaling service model, including strategies around client retention
• Proactively share ideas for business growth and operational efficiency

Requirements

You have:

• 3+ years of experience in a strategy or operations-focused role, management consulting background preferred
• Strong analytical mindset and with the ability to discover insights in complex data 
• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or graduate-level degree a plus
• Eagerness to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. This includes working both independently and on a team.
