What You'll Be Doing

• Managing all aspects of corporate accounting, directing all day-to-day financial accounting activities and functions of the company, including timely and accurate monthly financial reporting
• Implementing all proper accounting controls
• Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes and systems
• Ensuring that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner and that accounts receivable are collected promptly
• Providing analyses and detailed understanding of financial statements and metrics and drivers of our business units and products
• Being the In-house Technical Accounting expert
• Managing relationships with external accounting firms, tax advisors and other 3rd party professional advisors
• Overseeing tax accounting and tax provision preparation
• Assisting CFO with multi-year financial statement modeling
• Performing budget to actual variance analysis
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations
• Producing all financial information accurately and promptly

Requirements

• 10+ years of accounting experience
• 5+ years experience as a senior-level accounting or finance manager
• 5+ years of experience working at a national auditing company, preferably a Big 4 firm
• 2+ years of in-house accounting experience, preferably a SaaS firm or high-growth start up
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, and/or a related field
• CPA Required
• Expertise in GAAP accounting
• Experience working with 10K and 10Q reports is preferred
• Deep understanding of SaaS finance and accounting
• Experience preparing and delivering financial presentations to executive team members
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
