Working alongside our accounting team, Credit and Collections Specialist will be charged with initiating contact with customers and/or account executives and collecting on delinquent accounts. Tasks include resolving billing errors and disputes, and addressing terms compliance with customers.

What You’ll Do

• Responsibility for all collection activity on unpaid invoices
• Review potential customers for credit worthiness
• Liaise with existing customers to ensure timely payments
• Work with internal stakeholders (GMs, Relationship Managers) regarding payment status
• Thoroughly investigate historical data for each outstanding account prior to collection attempts
• Leverage account notes and payment history for collections conversations and negotiation
• Monitor and ensure follow up on any payment arrangements
• Working with collections firms regarding delinquent customer payments, where applicable 

Who You Are

• 3-5 years of experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including phone etiquette to establish relationships with internal and external partners and work effectively with the team
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize activities
• Strong attention to detail and level of accuracy
• Able to navigate systems (NetSuite, Bank Portal)
• Previous credit and collections experience
• Ability to work successfully in a fast paced team environment
