Taboola, the world’s largest content recommendation platform, is hiring a multi-faceted finance professional to work with Credit and Collections at Taboola. You’ll join a team of Finance professionals and partner with Account Management to implement Taboola’s finance policies with clients, and work toward resolutions of current situations. Responsibilities:
- Follow-up on past-due balances, delinquencies, and demand letters for our customers
- Escalate large uncollectibles to our in-house counsel and outside legal collection services
- Track all e-mails, phone calls and correspondences from client to create a collection file for our records and potential legal action
- Work with account managers to determine if accounts should be frozen, credit extended or billing terms altered
- Create listing of doubtful debt customers and consider write-off possibilities with finance team
- Respond to invoice requests, client billing issues and other client receivable inquiries
- Manage and provide the status of all pending collection cases with finance, our internal legal team as well as our outside collection agency
- Monitor payment plans for applicable clients
- Take ownership over the Credit Limit Application process submitted by account managers
- Manage expectations, responsiveness, and timeframes of the full credit applications with the account managers
- Ensure the client submits a completed and signed Bank Authorization form as well as two acceptable vendor/trade references
- Liaison with Axum, our credit specialist on their evaluation, findings and the results of the application
- Document the credit analysis, write up, and recommendations by the credit team
- Consult with finance to finalize the approved dollar limit to convey to the Account managers
- Manage the expiration of credit limits, updated terms, and additional extensions/renewals
- Monitor the compliance of required financial statements or other deliverables based on the agreed upon timeline during the process
- Continue to assess Clients' eligibility for additional credit, and provide a client contact name, email and phone number for this request.
- Evaluate the need for the investment of credit insurance for additional protection on select customers
Requirements:
- 2 – 5 Years’ experience in finance, preferably in credit & collections
- Bachelor’s degree (concentration in business or accounting) preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong writing skills, overall good communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Experience using CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce) is a plus
- Experience in Netsuite a plus
