Job Title: Digital Marketing Associate

Reports to (title):  Senior Vice President, Head of Marketing

Job Description:

The Digital Marketing Associate (DMA) is a key member of the Alger marketing department who will drive digital retention and acquisition efforts, using web technologies and Alger’s CMS and marketing automation platforms.  The DMA will also work closely with sales and other team members to create impactful marketing collateral and campaigns in support of sales initiatives. The DMA will be responsible for optimizing, managing, and reporting on our digital marketing efforts.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day activities of firm digital marketing efforts
  • Coordinate and execute email marketing campaigns
  • Conduct A|B testing on campaigns to optimize performance
  • Prepare ongoing marketing analytics reports that analyze and summarize the performance of campaigns and web performance
  • Be team lead and expert on email marketing platform, working closely with internal Salesforce administrator
  • Maintain marketing content calendar and coordinate digital campaigns
  • Interface with design team to conceive and implement the various digital marketing collateral
  • Interface with sales teams to develop and implement marketing campaigns that support key products as well as the overall brand
  • Work closely with sales team, and agency to ensure effective and strategic use of social media across the entire organization
  • Create programs that nurture prospects through the marketing funnel resulting in qualified leads for sales
  • Edit existing email marketing templates, create new email marketing templates, create landing pages, and lead capture forms
  • Review digital materials for accuracy and timeliness of content
  • Maintain firm website and intranet via CMS system and various media applications
  • Manage firm content/presence on external media platforms (Soundcloud, iTunes, YouTube, etc.)
  • Interface with web developers, and designers to ensure timely implementation of new web functionality, and ongoing site maintenance
  • Assist with quarterly update communications to salesforce, coordinating with vendors as well as internal stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years’ experience marketing, preferably in the Asset Management industry
  • Undergraduate Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Dual Marketing/Information Technology or an equivalent combination of training and experience (Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above in a 4.0 scale is required)
  • Experience with B2B email marketing platform(s) is required.  Pardot is preferred while Eloqua or Marketo are acceptable 
  • Experience using Google Analytics and business intelligence tools is required
  • Familiarity with HTML, CMS and website management platforms required
  • Experience with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce.com is greatly preferred
  • A strong desire to identify and implement new technology is a key to success in the role
  • Strong project management skills coupled with hands on mindset to get the job done
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and within cost and time restrictions
  • Creative with a strong understanding of process

Skills:

  • HTML and CSS preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Creative suite required
  • Knowledge of managing online media platforms/tools (SoundCloud, iTunes, Youtube, etc) preferred
  • Knowledge of social media management tools preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, SharePoint experience preferred
  • Advanced Excel Skills is required
