We are looking for a smart, passionate, and experienced finance and operations professional to manage Hive’s forecasting, budgeting, and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for leading our financial planning, accounts receivable, business reporting and provide operational recommendations aligned to growth of the business. The ideal candidate has experience working in a finance and operations role in a startup or rapidly growing business.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead all financial planning, business analysis and forecasting for the company 
• Prepare board reports and provide commentary to executive team and investors on business performance and future recommendations 
• Ensure that processes and infrastructure support the company's growth strategically; continuously improve the efficiency of operations 
• Provide business support in evaluation of new business endeavors, special projects, hiring plans, and other initiatives 
• Ensure all regulatory and compliance business requirements are fulfilled 
• Oversee accounts receivable ensuring timely collection of payments from customers 
• Provide financial support and expertise throughout the company including cash flow analysis, variance reporting, short-term and long-term range profitability analysis and financial projections. 
• Ensure timely payments to vendors and contractors 
• Manage external accounting firm and future internal hires

Key Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in relevant finance roles, previous startup or enterprise SaaS experience a plus 
• Phenomenal analytical and quantitative skills 
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, and be able to collaborate across all levels of the business 
• Prior management experience 
• Ability to work independently and lead projects in a fast-paced environment
