As our Vice President of Finance, you will work in a fast paced environment to build and as a result, touch a broad base of finance functions (e.g., FP&A, accounting, treasury, tax). Also, you'll get the opportunity to have a large impact and explore creative Finance solutions (e.g., finance structure of new investment strategies)
In this role, you will work with and report to our Head of Strategy & Finance at our New York City headquarters.
What you'll do:
- Develop Redesign Health's internal finance function
- Own annual budgeting, quarterly reforecasting, data analytics, and enhanced reporting, treasury management, etc
- Develop more robust processes across Redesign’s financial infrastructure
- Determine how to allocate expenses, profits and proceeds associated with Redesign Health platform projects
- Own proper documentation of financial policies; review and develop other appropriate accounting policies
- Drive progression towards audited financials for Redesign Health
- Collaborate with legal and outside tax experts to optimize tax efficiency
- Help to optimize use of NetSuite and to determine other systems needs
- Develop Redesign operating models in conjunction with Director of Strategy & Finance and Operations team
- Collaborate with Operations to assess operating company financial engagement model
- Determine appropriate accounting methodology for engagement with operating companies
- Determine how to best work with platform reimbursement
- Partner with stakeholders to answer key questions about capital structures to be used
What you'll need:
- Background
- 8+ years of progressively more senior FP&A/Strategic Finance experience with exposure to Accounting; having experienced rapid company growth
- Skills
- Highly skilled at Excel financial modeling
- Highly literate in accounting concepts and implications for FP&A strategy
- Business Insight - Knows how businesses work and how organizations make money. Keeps up with current and possible future policies, practices, and trends in the organization, with the competition, and in the marketplace. Uses knowledge of business drivers and how strategies and tactics play out in the market to guide actions. Readily takes action on challenges.
