As our Director of Financial Operations, this is a unique opportunity to build out best in class payments infrastructure and loan servicing from the ground up, and drive meaningful impact on our growth trajectory. From building foundational infrastructure to automating processes and collaborating on real time insights to support both internal and external decision making, this role will have broad exposure to multiple teams as well as external capital markets investors. 

What you'll do

• Develop loan servicing platform to support multiple credit facilities and manage debt investor relationships 
• Ownership of reconciliation infrastructure for daily capital inflows and outflows 
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering & Operations to build an automated end to end settlement roadmap including origination, purchases and collections
• Develop processes to manage customer disputes, refunds, and charge-back responses; to close funds-reconciliation gaps
• Collaborate with Analytics and Risk teams to provide insights on financial ledger & portfolio performance
• Partner with VP Finance & Corporate Development to support strategic business initiatives such as capital fundraising, opportunistic investments and analysis for new product launches

Who you are

• Extensive experience (5+ Years) in a financial operations, treasury, capital markets or control role with exposure to asset backed lending and loan tape infrastructure
• Prior experience in lending, asset management, corporate finance
• Operating experience at a lending startup a plus
• Self-starter who enjoys spearheading projects with multiple stakeholders
• Attention to detail and ability to develop rigorous processes is a mustInterest in and/or past experience with lending products and credit analysis
• Strong analytical and modeling skills in Excel, experience with large data sets 
• SQL experience is a plus 
• Bachelors degree at an accredited educational institution
