Who you are:

As the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, you will report directly to the CFO. You will provide leadership, analysis, reporting and general business support for regular financial review processes and work collaboratively with internal customers, including our executives and senior management, to properly analyze and interpret financial results compared against budgets and forecasts in accordance with corporate requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the annual budgeting process based on business metrics and KPIs
  • Work with company leadership to understand and project future growth in revenues and expenses
  • Assess and analyze progress of business initiatives, report results, recommend course corrections where appropriate
  • Develop and maintain projection models
  • Analyze sales productivity, revenue growth and retention, unit economics, and margins
  • Work with business leadership to analyze business opportunities, investments, partnerships, process improvement programs and research various industry/company trends
  • Develop and maintain estimates of total addressable market; track competitors and peers
  • Develop methodologies, dashboards and models for budgeting and reporting
  • Collaborate with other members of the Finance team on a variety of initiatives, including, but not limited to, the monthly close process, quote to cash process, etc.
  • Develop presentations and analytical material to be presented to senior and executive management, the board and investors

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field of study from a top tier institution; MBA preferred
  • 8+ years experience in FP&A and/or relevant professional industry experience
  • Understanding of financial statements and accounting concepts, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and/or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Understanding of business performance metrics, including SaaS metrics
  • High proficiency in financial analysis methods, tools and concepts to prepare forecasts, cash flows and perform analyses
  • Strong statistical, analytical and quantitative skills
  • Sharp attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner
  • Expert ability with Excel
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and partnering skills, including success in influencing outside of direct reporting line
  • Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
