The Role: 

The Director of FP&A will work with our VP of Financial Strategy & Operations to build and maintain Newsela’s core financial model, lead Newsela’s annual budgeting process, and manage ongoing monthly & quarterly reforecasts. Collaborating across the company, you will be relied on to provide strategic support to executive leadership to ensure smart business decisions and efficient capital allocation. This role will be critical in analyzing trends in existing KPI to provide forward-looking insights, and continuously iterate to improve our reporting and analytics. You will manage a team of analysts to financial models and analyses to determine ROIs for new products/market strategies and business development opportunities. Additionally, you will assist in preparing materials including board decks, investor presentations, and other executive updates.
