The Director of FP&A at Collibra is responsible for:

  • Leading Collibra’s financial planning and analysis globally as we continue our rapid growth.  Reporting into the VP, Finance, you will be responsible for leading a team of managers and analysts supporting all Go-To-Market, Product, Engineering, and G&A functions.
  • Building strong, trusted relationships with senior management and leaders across every business function within Collibra.  You will have direct visibility to senior leadership and be expected to play an active role in managing the business.
  • Partnering with our Strategic Finance, Accounting, and People teams to scale our systems and processes.  You will work closely with our other support functions to ensure our operational and financial planning processes run smoothly and are clearly understood across the organization.
  • Scaling our financial planning tools, teams, and processes to support our continued rapid growth.  You will plan and lead the company-wide adoption of our cloud-based operational and financial planning tool as well as continue to grow the FP&A team to support the business.
  • Driving our monthly and quarterly Management and Board reporting packages.  You will be responsible for developing and communicating various dashboards, KPI’s, and metrics reporting, as well as regular Board packages to provide clear, accurate, and meaningful information to senior leadership. 


You Have:

  • Risen through the ranks as a FP&A analyst/manager yourself, and now have 7+ years experience in corporate finance / FP&A.
  • Global company experience (public company and IPO experience a plus), building strong relationships with business partners across functions and countries
  • Expertise in understanding, planning, and analyzing SaaS businesses models, and operational and financial metrics.
  • Strong knowledge and familiarity of financial reporting / accounting concepts; particularly under ASC 606 guidelines
  • Experience building and/or scaling the FP&A function in a high-growth, dynamic environment, including managing, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team.
  • Implemented and driven adoption of a company-wide financial planning tool (particularly great if you have experience with Adaptive Planning)

  • An excellent communicator capable of translating complex, nuanced, or detailed analysis into clear, actionable summaries or recommendations.
  • Comfortable in ambiguity, thrive through change, are highly adaptable and can create clarity and focus in a dynamic environment

Reporting to Collibra's VP of Finance, The Director of FP&A measures of success are:

  • Within your first month, you will begin to develop strong cross functional relationships and understand the top priorities, growth plans, and investment areas of the business
  • Within your third month, you will have established an FP&A roadmap for the future, including a detailed plan for rolling out Adaptive Planning to the organization
  • Within your sixth month, you will have successfully led the FY22 financial planning process at Collibra, leveraging Adaptive Planning for the first time
