Director of Investor Relations (Client Services)
About the Role
Yieldstreet is hiring a Director of Investor Relations (Client Services) to provide world class service and an unparalleled investor experience to our members and prospects. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this proven leader should have managerial and business skills to enable and drive a team of service and investor relationship managers and associates in NY and Malta. In this new role, the candidate will be responsible for managing a best-in-class investor relations team and continuing to identify new ways to provide the highest level of service and engagement. You recognize the need for more people to access alternative investments and want to utilize your knowledge to help investors understand the ins and outs of our platform. The ideal candidate would have a passion for Yieldstreet’s mission of helping investors Realize Their Next Level.
What you'll do:
- Help shape the future of service by modernizing the client experience through an elevated standard of care
- Improve and develop customer service philosophy and model to provide best-in-class experience to new and existing members
- Define and optimize customer onboarding to improve engagement based on customer segmentation and leading a culture of continuous improvement
- Act as primary point of contact for all members on site and work to solve customer needs ranging from account servicing to investment-related questions
- Create an amazing client experience by establishing high value relationships with Yieldstreet’s investor base
- Develop strong working relationships across internal functions including Investments, Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance, Technology and Legal
- Analyze metrics and drive operational excellence to achieve high satisfaction score and work on improving the overall experience in partnership with other teams
- Address escalated client issues with speed and urgency, orchestrating resources across the company as appropriate
- Lead and mentor a team of Investor Relations Managers and Associates
What you’ll need:
- 5+ years experiences Client Services/Investor Relationship leadership experience, preferably in private wealth management or related industries
- Proven experience leading teams, driving new initiatives to elevate customer satisfaction, and customer success best practices
- Proven ability to develop strategies, translate them into initiatives and track successful delivery
- Able to be flexible and agile in responding to evolving business priorities and dealing with ambiguity
- Able to collaborate across the organization, including senior executives and with external stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail oriented and works well under pressure
- Strong Interpersonal and relationship building skills, ability to interact with and grow a highly successful client base
Bonus points for:
- Experience with Zendesk and Salesforce CRM
- Understanding of the competitive landscape in fintech and/or the alternative investment space
- Active Series 7, 63 and 65 or willingness to obtain them
