What will you do?

At Sealed, energy efficiency performance is a core part of our business - we are the first company to charge homeowners based on the reduction in their energy usage. This means that every bill a customer receives is different and based on several factors, including the amount of energy the customer used during the relevant period.

You will report to the VP of Finance and will support our financial operations as we expand across the country and grow our revenue 10x over the next few years by managing the performance calculation and bill issuance process. With your methodical approach and meticulous attention to detail, customers will be assured that their performance is calculated accurately and they are billed in accordance with their contract each month.

Specifically, you will:

• Setup the performance calculations for a customer's project after it is installed.
• Manage the ongoing customer performance calculation and bill issuance process.
• Provide performance and billing analyses based on customer support requests.

And while you will execute Sealed’s existing performance calculation and bill issuance processes upon joining, you will also play an integral role in improving these processes to make them more efficient in the future.

What success looks like

• Customer performance is calculated accurately.
• Customer bills are issued in a timely manner and in accordance with contract terms. 
• Sealed performance and bill issuance processes become increasingly efficient, requiring less and less time per bill sent.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, including but not limited to calculating performance of or billing for a complex service or product.
• Demonstrated experience with Excel and familiarity with at least one other tool for data analysis and visualization (e.g. Tableau) and/or data management (e.g. SQL, R, Python).
• Self-starter with an ownership mentality and a penchant for process improvement.
