HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT AT COLLIBRA:

As our Stock & Payroll administrator, you will join our growing Finance and Accounting team in New York in building a scalable, world-class finance and accounting function. You will take-on global responsibility for our equity program and payroll administration. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-funded, high growth Belgian start-up.


A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A STOCK & PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR:

As a key member of our global finance and accounting team, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Process stock options grants, exercises and cancellations on a timely basis
  • Act as a primary contact for all equity -related questions
  • Prepare filings for employees who exercise incentive stock options
  • Select and implement an equity management software program. In-house maintenance of the cap table from outside counsel
  • Review bi-weekly/monthly payroll for our global organization
  • Prepare payroll entries as well as bonus and commission accruals on a monthly basis for our global organization
  • Partner with HR and legal counsel to ensure all new hires and payroll related changes are properly reflected within the payroll system.
  • Manage statutory tax withholding requirements and ensure that all payroll taxes are calculated and paid on time. Manage tax agency tracers and ensure all payroll reporting for various tax jurisdiction are filed on time
  • Lead all payroll related audits and assist in statutory audits
  • Research and understand applicability of any new rules, changes to the tax code or relevant legislation pertaining to payroll or stock option programs

YOU HAVE:

  • Experience in a combination of payroll and stock administration (5+ years)
  • Experience maintaining a capitalization table - preferable - for a high growth venture backed company
  • Excellent communication and customer service to effectively work with all levels of employees as well as outside business partners and tax agencies
  • Thorough understanding of and/or willingness to learn about federal, state and local tax laws for our global organization
  • Ability to successfully meet deadlines and seamlessly execute in a very fast-paced international environment
  • Hands on, loves new challenges, and ability to adapt to changing business needs
  • Team player, but can also work independently
