About the role:

As the Financial Manager for Q, you will support the CFO, accounting team and the business units in analyzing key metrics and trends, business operations and company performance. This position will assist the management and business unit leaders to driving more efficient and effective decision making to help Q reach its aggressive long term goals

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze company performance, understand and communicate key drivers and variances in order to make recommendations to CFO, business unit leaders
  • Assist in preparation for monthly closing packages for internal and external distribution
  • Lead preparation of rolling monthly forecast, annual budget, and long range planning
  • Work with Data team to build processes and dashboards between planning cycles that identify and track key metrics
  • Deliver financial and operational metrics to support data-driven decision-making process
  • Ad-hoc financial analysis
  • Assist in preparing presentations and supporting analysis for Board of Directors, investors and full company

Qualifications:

  • Self-starter who takes initiative to help improve current management reporting and identify important metrics
  • Excellent communication skills; will interact extensively with senior management and key members of the team across the US
  • Deal effectively with every changing priorities and an evolving business model
  • MBA preferred
  • 2-3 years in an analytical role, prior FP&A experience strongly preferred
  • Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analysis
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Business Analytics tools, including Looker
  • Exceptional financial modeling and scenario analysis skills
