As Calculate continues to scale, we’re seeking an Associate Director with a background in finance to spearhead our engagement with consumer and ecommerce startups. This role will include acting as the VP of Finance and Controller to growing companies as well as being a key player in helping Calculate scale.

What You’d Do

• Act as the VP of Finance and Controller to consumer and ecommerce startups by working closely with their founding and management teams
• Build financial models, forecast performance, manage working capital, and prepare financial statements to support fundraising, business planning, and financial operations
• Analyze financial and operational data to create strategies and support business decisions
• Foster partnerships as a go-to resource for entrepreneurs, investors, VCs, and accelerators
• Work closely with our management team to continue to develop the consumer vertical of Calculate and be a key contributor to business
• Continually develop skills and broaden knowledge base to actively improve client service and business offerings

What You’ve Got

• 6+ years’ experience in finance and accounting roles with specific industry experience in eCommerce, retail, or hospitality
• Background in corporate finance, FP&A, and/or corporate accounting
• Experience leading people to execute tasks, projects, and strategies
• Effective communicator particularly with conveying complex financial concepts and impacts to individuals who are not financially savvy
• Entrepreneurial mindset with craving to be a key contributor of building and scaling a business.
