ABOUT THE ROLE: 

We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our team at MANTL. This will be our first Finance hire outside of our CFO. 

This person will:

• Be responsible for the creation and management of the companies financial statements
• Implement and manage automated systems to ensure the accurate collection and reporting of financial information 
• Manage proactive budgeting and timely reporting of company financial performance
• Control the companies cash-flow
• Negotiate significant financial outlays
• Scenario modeling for financings and other largely investment decisions
• Supporting our VP Growth and VP Customer Success with financial analysis (e.g. segment analysis, customer profitability, efficiency ratio’s etc)
• Work collaboratively with the CFO and wider commercial team

Requirements

• 3+ years of investment banking, consulting, or other financially aligned role
• Must deeply understand a 3 statement financial models including their interrelationships
• Strong understanding of both cash and accrual accounting concepts
• An intuitive understanding of time value of money, opportunity cost, sunk cost fallacy, operating leverage, opex vs capex etc. Ideally you can inject these thought processes into leadership discussions internally!
• Strong general analytics skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to present detailed aspects of the companies financials to senior management
