The Role:

Reporting to the Director of Business Analytics, the Financial Analyst will help maintain and improve the DailyPay’s financial model using historical data and providing forecasts based on various metrics. In addition you will provide support and improve DailyPay’s executive managerial reporting to the functional heads, management and operating committees. Finally you will provide support and improve DailyPay’s financial and operational initiatives and projects.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards
  • Maintain and enhance existing reports when necessary
  • Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
  • Participate in ongoing development of annual/quarterly/monthly budgets
  • Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Manage projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance.
  • Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects
  • Update, implement and maintain procedures
  • Gather and prepare data for various reporting/ modeling purposes
  • Help support team members in other departments with analysis and/or guidance on data
  • Deliver ongoing reporting, analytics and insight on performance metrics to benchmark progress against targets, initiatives and strategies.

What You Bring to The Team:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, economics, accounting, statistics or other quantitative discipline
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting and/or analytics areas
  • Strong Excel knowledge
  • Proficient in SQL and Tableau
  • Excellent analytical skills and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter with the ability to think and work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively (and collaboratively) deliver results in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to multi-task and work on projects simultaneously
  • Ability to evaluate and change priorities daily and to perform efficiently
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Occasional need to work outside of normal business hours as required to support customers may be required
