Financial Benefits Analyst
As the Financial Benefits Analyst, you will assist consultants in both client service and financial consulting. Some of your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, insurance procurement, experience reporting, new and existing business, financial review, and strategy around client consulting objectives. Sharpen your negotiation skills as you work directly with insurance carriers on behalf of Namely’s brokerage clients. You will also be responsible for helping with brokerage related projects when needed.
Responsibilities
- Procurement process: creation of RFP documents along with organization and negotiation of carrier proposals
- Financial analysis and strategy regarding client health and benefit needs
- Assist in the financial analysis for prospective and existing brokerage clients
- Periodic medical and dental financial experience analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and lookup formulas
- Ability to serve the Namely brand when creating PowerPoint deliverables
- Exceptional skills in handling large volumes of data
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership and accountability
- Flexible, team-oriented collaborator, a self-starter who is capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with salesforce
- Prior brokerage or carrier experience
- Prior client-facing experience
