The Role

Addepar is seeking an Finance Planning Analyst to join our FP&A Team! You will build and own key analysis areas and dashboards to help the company measure and guide improved business execution. You will help implement the corporate planning systems and processes used to plan the budgets and spending across the company. The best analyst will be one who can analyze data, build models, and crisply communicate high-impact opportunities and trends to partners across the company.

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for the close process and related reporting, including revenue recognition, general ledger and consolidated international reporting.
  • Design, automate, and optimize flexible financial planning models, systems & processes to meet the needs of a dynamic and fast-growing business
  • Own a lane of company expenses or revenue and help build the rolling quarterly financial plan
  • Seek insight and understanding to partner with business leaders across the organization to resolve competing business priorities 
  • Build dashboards and variance / operational reviews
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making and optimize ROI
  • Interact with senior executives and board regarding financial matters as needed

Who You Are

  • Numbers and outcome oriented mindset
  • High attention to detail with a focus of understanding what is behind a number.
  • Seek out precision in models but know when to cut the significant digits
  • At least two years of experience in a financial analyst, consulting or investment banking role
  • Proven expertise with Excel; Helpful to know SQL or Looker data.
  • Ability to develop and manage financial models independently
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization, from clerical staff to executives, and manage relationships with external parties
