WHAT YOU’LL DO:
We are seeking a Financial Systems Architect Director who will manage the full ecosystem of all finance-related systems. You have the ability to develop compelling integrated architectural design solutions, communicate relevant emerging system trends and technology, and translate requirements into technical deliverables. Working closely with Accounting, Finance, Revenue Operations and People teams, you will focus on ensuring the efficiency and scalability of all workflows of the finance processes from a technology perspective:
- Own all aspects of our financial systems including speed optimization, data integrity, new feature identification, financial reporting, user security, controls, user support, employee trainings, and third-party/custom integrations
- Collaborate with key stakeholders (Accounting, FP&A, IT, Legal, People, and Revenue Operations to name a few), leading them through transformative discovery, design, implementation, and execution activities
- Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders during discovery stages to research and understand challenges and drive towards value-added solutions
- Maintain and continually enhance financial systems to meet ever-changing requirements
- Focus on providing key system analytics to help drive decision-making
- Drive the development, configuration, and monitoring of financial system-related internal controls and policies
- Maintain a documentation archive of financial system processes changes, role-based security, and customizations
WHO YOU ARE:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience implementing, supporting, and optimizing financial systems – such as Workday, Zuora RevPro, NetSuite, Salesforce, Coupa, Captivate, E*TRade, Adaptive Insights, and Equity Edge
- Experience architecting enterprise integration systems, and proven ability to create integration landscape diagrams and use cases a plus
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management Information Systems
- 5+ years of solid NetSuite experience required (SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, SuiteBundler, etc.)
- NetSuite certifications preferred
- Experience developing custom features and solutions for Netsuite in similar roles
- Working with a multi-entity global NetSuite instance preferred
- Public company experience a plus; High-growth company experience a plus
- Skill in rapid analysis and decomposition of complex systems information into technical process components
- Experience working in a fast growth environment and plan for future states
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting and finance processes including Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report (Order Management and Pricing/Billing experience)
- Extensive knowledge of internal controls best practices and SOX Compliance
- Strong working knowledge of system development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile) and ability bridge different methodologies as needed
- Experience with database management systems and can write basic SQL statements
- Demonstrated project management expertise, troubleshooting ability, managing internal resources, and recruiting additional resources to meet project deadlines
- Able to quickly learn new technologies as they become prevalent and widely implemented, including decision-making, time management, and task prioritization
- Comfortable with ambiguity and can make quality decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Proven relationship manager with experience growing and developing strong trusted-adviser relationships with key stakeholders
- Confident and thoughtful personality with the ability to adapt styles to multiple types of personalities
- Professional and confident team player with a strong focus on collective success
