Fixed Asset Accountant at Skillsoft (Remote)

OVERVIEW:
The Fixed Asset Accountant, who will report to the Senior Director of Accounting, will be responsible for all aspects of Fixed Assets for Skillsoft’s Entities and subsidiaries, including those that may be outside of our current main system. This role will work with a team that is geographically dispersed. The successful candidate will have an acute attention to detail, and ability to research and analyze issues to the point of resolution. The ability to work on individual projects and team projects is essential.
OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS:
- Review and approve all invoices via Coupa that have been assigned to a Fixed Asset commodity to ensure our policies and procedures are correctly followed and all relevant information is obtained from the asset owner.
- Ensure all capital expenditures are recorded correctly in accordance with GAAP.
- Run Fixed Asset Management processes in accounting systems.
- Perform annual audit on all assets with appropriate asset owners.
- Reconcile Fixed Asset GL accounts and rollforwards
- Consolidated Fixed Asset reporting and individual entity reporting.
- Assist in external reporting needs in relation to Fixed Assets
- Keep teams up to date on information that will impact their daily job duties and responsibilities.
- Create and utilize automated tools for the updating, analyzing, and reporting of all financial results.
- Recommend improvement of processes through automation.
- Document policies and procedures.
- Assist in audit requests as needed
- Other duties as assigned
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Windows, Excel, email, and web-based tools
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Preferred PeopleSoft 9.0 Financials
- BS in accounting with 5+ years of experience in Fixed assets
Target base salary range for this job requisition is anticipated to be $50,511 to $79,375 annualized.
We also offer participation in the Company Bonus Program and full benefits. The company may modify salaries, salary ranges and/or Pay Plans from time to time as it deems necessary.
