We are hiring an Associate to join our newly created Fund Operations team in NYC. This role will report into the Vice President. This role involves a lot of interaction with Relationship Managers, Investor Relations, Fund Finance, and External Counterparties. You will participate in a wide variety of tasks that relates to fund launch operations, ongoing reporting for custodians, and automating processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with new fund launch operations, which includes, creating new bank accounts, setting up funds at custodian counterparties and fulfilling investor reporting obligations to custodian counterparties
  • Actively manage external communication and workstream with each custodian partner firm
  • Liaising with Legal and Fund Finance teams to execute subscriptions to underlying investments
  • Sweep account opening and monitoring and assist with capital call facility analysis
  • Streamline, enhance, and automate processes to scale for growing business volume by identifying process weaknesses and contributing solutions and documenting newly created team processes and workflows
  • Working knowledge of iCapital's platform and assisting with system projects relating to the Operations team
  • Assist with any other middle office/operations functions and ad hoc requests/projects

Candidate Profile

  • Accounting and/or Finance background with 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Understanding of Fund Accounting processes required
  • Excel proficiency required
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivation, strong work ethic needed
