The Intercompany Accountant will be a core member of our Global Controllership team and will be responsible for the end-to-end process of intercompany accounting. The position requires a high level of collaboration, partnering with the Global Tax Team, Regional Controllers and Finance Hubs across the world to ensure sound compliance and reporting. We are seeking an accounting professional who has experience in public accounting and/or a desire/experience to work in industry practice with a services technology company. This position will report to Assistant Global Controller.

Here’s What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely accounting and related financial reporting of all intercompany transactions
  • Support the accurate and timely administration of intercompany related activities, including month end review, settlements, intercompany cash transfers, onboarding new entities, etc.
  • Maintain database integrity and ensure accurate recordkeeping of all intercompany data
  • Develop and maintain documentation of intercompany processes and controls for internal and external audits
  • Ensure tax, regulatory, legal, and SOX compliance requirements are met timely and accurately and in compliance with governing master service agreements
  • Manage relationships with the PeopleSoft Techops Team supporting the various intercompany automations 
  • Drive process improvement and innovation to scale the intercompany process
  • Represent the intercompany process as a subject matter specialist in mergers & acquisitions, automation opportunities, and other strategic projects
  • Support the accurate reporting to external regulatory filings
  • Lead finance education initiatives of intercompany, including distribution of educational materials, live presentations, facilitation of Q&A, and overall availability to support Regional Finance inquiries.
  • Other responsibilities, tasks, and ad hoc requests as needed.


Here’s What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting
  • CPA or actively working towards a CPA is preferred 
  • 3-4 years of accounting experience
  • Experience working with intercompany and/or multinational companies 
  • General understanding of transfer pricing principles 
  • Public accounting experience is preferred but not required
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict reporting deadlines
  • Stellar project and process management skills
  • Proficiency in financial systems and strong intuition for business
  • Highest standards of accuracy, organization and precision
  • Ability to explain intercompany concepts to all levels of the organization
  • Understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) 
  • Ability to work in distributed global work environment, working closely with others in other time zones and locations, frequently
  • Hands on, assisting regions in investigating issues 
  • Self-motivated individual with a high level of integrity and accountability
  • Ability to proactively and independently learn business applications, accounting systems, and reporting tools
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, with competing and deadline-sensitive priorities
  • Excellent team player with an ability to work effectively with all levels in the organization, domestically and internationally
