You will facilitate rapid growth within the business line by defining an optimized Go To Market strategy, products and service offerings, sales playbooks, and the roadmap for Alloy’s FinTech customers. What you’ll be doing
As the GM of FinTech, you’ll be responsible for the strategic business planning and development of the FinTech customer segment with a focus on sales, account management and partnerships while supporting product, support & implementation teams to scale.
As the GM of FinTech, you’ll be responsible for:
- Sales & Account Management:
- Understand specific needs of different types of fintech customers (pre-launch through to pre-IPO/scaled companies, across use cases) and tailor distribution strategies as well as pricing & packaging
- Define and improve scalable end-to-end processes for sales and account management
- As Alloy scales, build and lead a growing sales team
- Work with rest of revenue team and sales ops to create scalable processes and teams
- Marketing:
- Build customer-facing sales and onboarding collateral with the support of our Senior Marketing Manager
- Engage with external third party resources (i.e. PR, brand/design, etc.) to drive effective strategies to FinTech audiences
- Product:
- Identify potential and existing customer signals and collect impactful feedback to inform specific product features and enhancements to optimize Alloy for the FinTech client, working with Alloy product team
- Perform necessary research and testing to develop pricing for FinTech companies (including new-to-market FinTech)
- Conduct FinTech research on vendor costs to generate a pricing strategy that will accelerate growth trajectory and results
- Business Operations:
- Ensure the financial health of your business line by managing through numbers and making sound decisions to drive topline and profitability
- Conduct recurring PnL reviews, revenue forecasting, and goals setting
- Recruit & manage a team dedicated to fintech over time
- Work with operations team to provide guidance and insight into data partnerships (and related COGS)
- Customer Success & Implementations:
- Communicate and collaborate with the Customer Success & Support teams to develop sustainable models that ensure turnkey implementation and support for early-stage FinTech companies
- Work successfully with the Customer Success & Support teams to build out organizational tools, materials, and professional teams over time
- Partnerships:
- Pursue strategic partnership opportunities that will drive customer acquisition and the FinTech customer LTV
- Conduct research, anticipate outcomes, measure costs, and outreach to potential partners to generate business development relationships (i.e. data partners and other third-party vendors within the FinTech ecosystem)
- Build advantageous and cooperative deal structures including co-selling, co-marketing, and re-selling arrangements
Who we’re looking for
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, Alloy is looking for a driven self-starter who will develop the FinTech customer segment business line from the ground up building an effective strategy and winning results to execute on the goals defined.
- 5+ years of prior B2B software enterprise experience selling and representing financial institution products and accounts
- Deep understanding of complex sales processes and products within a regulated landscape
- Strong ability to work and stay organized in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment
- Strong operational discipline with an analytical and process-oriented mindset
- Experience at SaaS companies or banking technology is required
