At Paxos, we are creating the infrastructure for a new, open financial system - one that anyone can access and participate in, and that operates efficiently. There are billions of people in the world who are unbanked or underbanked, and trillions of dollars that are locked up because of the inefficiencies of the legacy system. We envision a new system that allows any asset to move instantaneously, anywhere in the world - to unlock the potential of assets and people everywhere. Our customers include some of the biggest enterprises in the world like PayPal, Credit-Suisse and Societe Generale, and together we are upgrading the global financial system using modern blockchain and crypto technology.

We are looking for a Growth Finance and RevOps Lead to support the Growth function (Sales, Business Development and Marketing) within our rapidly growing FinTech company.  The Growth Finance and RevOps Lead will partner with leaders across the Growth organization to ensure that we’re making sound economic decisions and optimizing our performance through rigorous metric development and tracking. This is a multi-dimensional role that will be influencing the direction and strategy of both the business and Finance functions at Paxos.

What you will do:

  • You will serve as a member of the Growth business leadership team and develop relationships across the organization so that you can navigate questions, issues and prioritization effectively.
  • You will work with the Growth leadership team to develop business specific strategies.  This will include capability assessments (to communicate to Product), Sales, Business Development, and Marketing staffing plans, performance tracking, compensation strategies, and ROI analysis.
  • You will balance multiple cross-functional stakeholders across both the business and finance, making sure that we’re coordinating our efforts effectively.
  • You will develop business plans to achieve strategic objectives, including OKRs, metrics and reporting to track progress that is specific to the Growth business.
  • You will manage headcount planning, tracking and prioritization with or for the business leader.
  • You will create business cases or modeling to support strategic initiatives.
  • You will coordinate / lead the long-range and annual operating plan processes. Communicate requirements within each business team.
  • You will drive ad hoc analytics to improve business performance.
  • You will manage the group's operating expense budget and keep a clear accounting of the group's spending with the leadership team. You will navigate any expense requests and sheppard them through the corporate process.
  • You will be a key leader of the FP&A and RevOps function within Finance at Paxos. In that role you will help set the overall vision and direction of the Finance organization.

What you need to have:

  • You have 6-10 years of experience working in finance and partnering with Sales, Business Development and/or Marketing functions.
  • Preferred: you have experience working with federally regulated financial institutions
  • Demonstrated ability to learn complex new technologies and processes
  • Excellent program management and modeling skills
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • You will have a track record of influencing internal and external stakeholders through competing priorities, dependencies and tradeoffs
  • You have comfort working in a tech-driven environment with the ability to coordinate across several stakeholder groups (Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Finance, Marketing, People, Strategic Initiatives-Office of the CEO)

Other than these qualifications, we're hoping to bring someone on board who loves what they do and can't wait to join an amazing team.

We’re committed to pushing the boundaries of technology while also working with important stakeholder groups so we can build a financial system that is open and accessible to anyone around the world.

Who are our customers: Our customers run the gamut from individuals seeking access to digital assets and those who don’t want to be tied to a physical banking system, to large institutions seeking to improve their settlement infrastructure. Some of our clients today include big names like PayPal, Credit Suisse, Societe Generale, Macquaire, INTL FCStone and Virtu.

How we work: Paxos is driven by our four values. We believe that every Paxos employee is an owner, and employees consistently search for the truth in their work. (We want employees to care for themselves both in and out of office.) In addition to the benefits and perks, Paxos offers employees the chance to have a real and measurable impact on a growing business: what you do today directly influences the Company goals. As a result, we enable every employee to substantially grow their careers.
