The Role:

We are looking for an exceptional Internal Audit Manager who will support our Internal Audit team as we enable DailyPay’s navigation through a period of extraordinary growth. You will be part of an exciting team where you will partner up with individuals from various departments to support internal controls design and enhancement work, E2E process improvement, internal controls testing and to conduct internal audit reviews. Success in this role depends on your ability to collaborate with the respective process and control owners on identifying and addressing risks.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Conduct annual internal audit risk assessment.
  • Lead and be accountable for the planning and execution of risk based, operational and financial audits (scoping, fieldwork, and reporting). Responsible for the quality control of audits and delivery of high-quality audit reports.
  • Discuss and debrief findings with management, focusing particularly on areas of risk, control weakness and operational efficiency enhancements, and make practical recommendations for remediation.
  • Document E2E process flows for key business processes, such as, but not limited to, financial close, revenue, receivables, payables, payroll, treasury, ELCs etc.
  • Assess new processes or changes to existing processes to identify financial or operational risks.
  • Design internal controls, in collaboration with control owners to address key financial and operational risks.
  • Lead internal controls testing program and collaborate with control owners on remediation plans.
  • Communicate with and educate process owners (including non-finance individuals) on the importance of controls, an effective control environment, and the role of the team.
  • Conduct follow-up work, as necessary, to evaluate corrective action taken by management to resolve previous audit observations.
  • Provide periodic updates regarding engagement status to internal and external parties.
  • Experience in designing and testing IT General Controls

What You Bring to The Team:

  • 3-4 years of internal audit, controls design, and testing work experience, optimally in a high growth FinTech SaaS company.
  • Ownership mindset with a high degree of accountability.
  • Foundational literacy in risk management and internal controls fundamentals.
  • Solutions-driven willingness to roll up your sleeves.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Enthusiasm for attention to details and technicalities.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business/accounting/finance.
  • Relevant professional qualifications such as CIA, CPA, CISA.
