We are looking for the first dedicated financial specialist in a rapidly-growing company and business. As we expand beyond our current borders and into new markets, you will be responsible for analyses, preparation of budgets and other bookkeeping functions to ensure smooth functioning of Finance department operations. This will allow you to also quickly engage in financial reporting and tracking for investors, creating forecasts, models, helping with pitch decks, and other materials to acquire new investments and business partners, and assist senior management of the company in high-impact meetings and events. Analyst will report directly to the VP of Operations.

What You'll Do:

• Assist with annual audits and tax filings in addition to other financially-related government filings.
• Prepare annual budgets, incorporating forecasting, variance analysis, and managerial feedback.
• Compile and review monthly and quarterly management (financial) reports.
• Draft various financial reports, including cash flow analysis, and ad hoc requesting.
• Assist with maintaining the general ledger and accounting setup in our reporting and financial tracking software.
• Assist in the resolution of billing discrepancies/disputes with vendors.
• Help prepare pitch decks, forecasts, and other materials for Board meetings and investor presentations.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
• 2+ years experience.
• Proficient in all Microsoft office programs, specifically Excel.
• Must be able to work independently/take initiative.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy office environment.
• Prior experience at major financial institution or accounting firm a plus.
