We are looking for a dynamic, energetic and driven Manager of Finance Business Systems to join our rapidly expanding Finance organization. You will play a critical role in setting the vision for finance systems, driving efficiency and implementing high-impact programs to help Finance support Compass’s rapid growth. You will help define our business systems and operating model strategy.
At Compass You Will:
- Manage the Financial Systems team, and develop a best in class functional area supporting Finance
- Design and implement processes, procedures, and systems architecture to meet the needs of the rapidly growing business
- Drive the full life-cycle for financial systems including gathering business requirements, technical analysis and design, coding, testing, and implementation of customizations within the software environment (Procure-to-Pay, Order-To-Cash and Corporate Accounting)
- Collaborate with Product & Engineering to integrate finance business systems and our data warehouse
- Participate in major cross-functional efforts, such as product launches and strategic planning, that pull together team members from departments including Strategic Growth, Agent Operations, Marketing, Finance, Product and Engineering
- Ensure business requirements are properly configured in all financial systems
- Identify, support and maintain SOX compliance
- Identify, evaluate and recommend key technologies to improve business processes
- Maintain documentation of key operational processes, system improvements and their revisions
What We Are Looking For:
- 7+ years experience designing and implementing solutions in ERP applications
- Experience with BI tools and creating metrics/dashboards for business owners
- 3+ years experience working as a NetSuite Administrator; NetSuite Administrator (Suite Foundation) Certification is preferred
- Strong technical background, and hands-on experience customizing NetSuite and integrating it with other business systems
- Knowledge of GAAP accounting and experience with SOX compliance
- Experience with the following systems is strongly preferred: Salesforce, Adaptive Planning, Concur, Coupa, business intelligence solutions, cloud billing and sales compensation applications
- Ability to effectively gather and prioritize user requirements from disparate sources, going beyond user requests to get to key user needs
- Proven experience building, mentoring, motivating and leading high performance teams and attracting and retaining top talent. Ability to effectively amplify the strengths of direct reports and team members
- Team player with strong analytical and project management skills
- Strong consensus and relationship-building skills, with experience marshalling resources across different functions of an organization; ability to effectively resolve stakeholder differences
- Ability to lead by influencing others, without the need to project formal authority, especially in cross-functional and executive settings
- Self-starter, positive attitude, zero ego, and ability to problem-solve under minimal supervision
- Strong communication and organizational skills, and impeccable attention to detail
- Must understand complex business models and strategy
- Proactive, always seeking additional responsibility
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and procedures
