Click’s lead prescription program is entering into a multi-center, randomized, controlled, parallel-group, phase III FDA registration trial for the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder in adults. Major pipeline expansion and progression is in process.
About the Role
This position is a high visibility role that will report to the VP, Finance and will be responsible for financial modelling and assisting with key forecasting processes, including the annual budgeting process. The successful candidate will design financial planning and reporting processes that streamline the business and put value driving management insights in decision makers hands. The role also will encompass deep dives into business trends, variance analyses, and ad hoc strategic modeling to provide data-driven decision support across all functions of Click, and internal/external reporting. This will include providing leadership and decision support for key decisions including strategic investments, acquisitions, infrastructure, and new products. Finally, this individual will possess superior interpersonal skills allowing for effective communication with investors, equity analysts and investment bankers.
Responsibilities
- Work with VP, Finance and CFO to maintain corporate financial model, including 5-year outlook for income statement, cash flow and balance sheet; Maintain detail driver-based model for all assumptions
- Help drive the annual and strategic planning / budgeting processes; Develop and drive best practices across the organization
- Continuously improve Click’s financial planning and analysis platform by building out new planning capabilities and interactive analysis to meet key stakeholders need
- Support analysis and reporting on strategic initiatives and other enterprise priorities with appropriate rigor and urgency
- Ensure timely delivery of necessary financial information to support Executive, Board and existing / prospective investor presentations
- Participate in meetings and calls with investors to discuss the Company’s financial performance and strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another relevant field
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience with 3-statement financial modeling (e.g. investment banking, investing, FP&A / finance at high-growth companies, consulting)
- Experience with owning and documenting key assumptions for income statement, cash flow and balance sheet
- Experience leading or helping to lead annual and/or strategic planning and best practices for the processes
- Microsoft Excel master with ability to create robust, scalable and flexible financial and operational models
- Highly organized, independent and self-motivated; committed to delivering consistently accurate and high-quality work product
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to also translate into PowerPoint or Slides
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Pharmaceutical or related industry experience a plus
- Experience working in NetSuite is preferred
