The Team:
Datadog's Finance team collaborates with teams across the organization, providing commercial, operational, and analytical support to ensure that Datadog's business continues to grow as rapidly and efficiently as possible.
The Opportunity: We are seeking a Manager, Revenue to join our growing Finance team at Datadog. As a member of the finance team, the Manager, Revenue will be a key member of the team in leading revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, developing more efficient revenue close processes, and be on the front lines of supporting the rapid growth of the Company.
You will:
Coordinate revenue team to ensure accuracy and quality of all data and information throughout the revenue cycle
Work closely with the broader finance team to support the finance operations, accounting and compliance function for our business
Facilitate and support SOX compliance and coordinate annual audit and quarterly reviews performed by our auditors
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders surrounding the revenue process including customer success, sales and internal audit, maintaining effective communication channels
Maintain continuous alignment of our wider team efforts on projects which have high impact on finance and accounting processes, employee and customer experiences
Lead process redesign and automation including implementation of key systems
Develop and mentor staff to build their professional career and maximize individual potential
Ad hoc analysis and reports as they arise
You Are:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
CPA or working toward CPA
6-8 Years work experience
Significant & relevant experience in multi-national, high-growth public companies and/or in large accounting firms
Experience building relationships with key external and internal stakeholders and business leaders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with NetSuite and/or Salesforce
SaaS experience a plus
