The Manager, Strategic Finance at Collibra is responsible for:

  • Serving as the Strategic Finance business partner to support the GTM teams (Sales & Marketing) at Collibra
  • Driving alignment with GTM leaders to inform strategic decisions, including pricing and packaging
  • Supporting the launch of new product lines through ad hoc analysis required to support Sales and Marketing initiatives
  • Leading the buildout of data infrastructure and dashboards to track Sales and Marketing metrics on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Performing and owning weekly / monthly reporting, and developing GTM KPIs (including benchmarks) to assist with the decision-making that aligns with company’s long-term strategic plan
  • Driving the roadmap for future GTM Strategic Finance initiatives including initiatives to enhance Sales growth, as well as providing greater sales pipeline visibility
  • Assisting in preparation of various discussion presentations including board of director materials and other strategic ad-hoc analysis

You Have:

  • Minimum 5+ years combined experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, strategic finance, or FP&A (preferably partnering with go-to-market organizations at a high growth SaaS company)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or other relevant disciplines
  • Deep understanding of B2B SaaS businesses, metrics, LTV and customer lifecycle
  • Experience improving and streamlining processes, and developing solutions to operational inefficiencies
  • Demonstrated excellent project management skills, ability to manage and manipulate large data sets, critically analyze existing processes, and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify and distill complex concepts to digestible pieces
  • Skilled at building relationships and influencing at all levels of management and across functions
  • Ability to provide recommendations to drive execution and decision-making; you are seen as a trusted and objective advisor
  • Elite Excel and PowerPoint skills; must also be proficient with G-Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of precision and attention to detail
  • High level of ownership and intellectual curiosity with a result-oriented attitude

  • Comfortable in ambiguity, thrive through change, are highly adaptable and can create clarity and focus in a dynamic environment

Measuring Success:

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Finance:

  • Within your first month, you will begin to develop strong cross functional relationships and understand the top priorities, growth plans, and investment areas of the business 
  • Within your third month, you will have led and built analyses to support strategic decision making such as unit economic analysis, TAM analysis, and other GTM initiatives
  • Within your sixth month, you will have served as end-to-end partner for all strategy-led projects and helping form strategic recommendations
