Meeting your future team:

Collibra is seeking a Payroll Specialist to own the payroll processing for the US and multiple international countries. Operating under the Global Payroll Manager, this team member will embody one of our core values ‘Be the Customer’s Champion's we make sure our fellow Collibrians (our customers) are paid accurately and on time. This individual contributor role will perform all necessary activities to accurately process their assigned payrolls, timely answer employee and manager questions, provide reports, gather data for audits, as well as provide back-up to other members of the Global Payroll team.

Payroll Specialists at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Processing semi-monthly and monthly assigned countries payrolls accurately and on time.
  • Providing customer support to our fellow Collibrians payroll questions and requests.
  • Responding timely to our payroll processing vendors, tax authorities, auditors, and management.
  • Providing data for reports or audits as scheduled or requested.
  • Supporting the Global Payroll Team as back-up for other team members and functions.

You Have:

  • Minimum of 6 years progressive experience in US multi-state payroll.
  • Minimum 1 year of international payroll experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Federal and State regulations.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information.

You Are:

  • Experienced with Safeguard payroll (preferred).
  • Experience with Workday payroll (a plus).
  • A team player and an expert juggler who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.
  • Detail and process-oriented, with a personal standard for excellence
  • Familiar with payroll best practices.

Measuring Success:

  • Within your first month, you will meet the team and begin to learn the systems and our payroll processes.
  • Within your third month, you will have established working relationships with our payroll vendors, cross-functional partners, and have a very good understanding of your assigned Payrolls and processes.
  • Within your sixth month, you will fully own your countries payrolls with minimum supervision and be able to effectively back-up other team members.
