As a Revenue Accountant at Rhino, you’ll join an accomplished team in a leadership role, helping us build the foundation of a company that is positioned to revolutionize the renting process.
In this role, you will:
- Own internal schedules used for reporting revenue, cost of goods sold, prepaids, accruals, and much more
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy of revenue schedules
- Analyze, investigate, and resolve underlying causes of data discrepancies
- Complete month-end processes, consisting of updating financial schedules, recurring analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and ad-hoc tasks
- Upload data to Rhino’s collections partner
- Maintain and suggest improvements to Rhino’s collections process
- Review and handle payment as well as collection disputes
- Leverage tools to streamline analysis and reporting such as SQL or Tableau
- Perform various accounting, administrative, and other related duties as assigned and required by the role
We’re ideally seeking:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting (CPA, a plus)
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of accounting principles and ability to read financial statements
- Experience with accounting software programs (Quickbooks Online, a plus)
- Skilled in use of MS Excel, capable of working with large amounts of data
- Obsessive attention to detail and follow-through
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, flexible, and able to work autonomously as well as take direction as needed
