Joining Collibra's Accounting team:

Collibra is looking to hire a highly motivated and enthusiastic Revenue Accountant to join its Accounting team to support continued growth Collibra is experiencing.

This new role will report to the Senior Revenue Manager, and will play an integral part in day-to-day revenue accounting activities. They will be responsible for supporting the month-end close process, contract review and maintaining revenue accounts in accordance with US GAAP.  

Revenue Accountants at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Actively participate in monthly and quarterly close activities including preparing revenue journal entries, monthly revenue entries, account reconciliations, and analytical review procedures. 
  • Review revenue contracts in detail, identifying any non-standard terms to ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with company policy and ASC 606.
  • Perform revenue allocation calculations and set up and maintain revenue waterfalls in NetSuite. 
  • Challenge the “status quo” and partner with cross-functional groups to drive best practices  for revenue and quote to the cash process
  • Support annual external audit.

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA. 
  • 3+ years of revenue accounting experience, including contract review.
  • SaaS or technology company experience; public accounting a plus.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP, particularly ASC 606.
  • Experience with NetSuite (ARM). SaleForce and FloQast are a plus.

  • System savvy with Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Able to work collaboratively as well as independently, maintain high degree of accuracy and efficiency to meet tight deadlines

Reporting to Collibra's Senior Revenue Manager, the measures of success are:

  • Within your first month, you will have a good understanding of Collibra’s products, quote to cash process in SalesForce and NetSuite, and revenue policy.
  • Within your third month, you will be able to review orders and contract modifications in NetSuite ARM to ensure accurate treatment in compliance with ASC 606 policies.  
  • Within your sixth month, you will own the month end tasks, collaborate with various teams and participate in process improvement projects.
