About the role:

Q is looking for an Analyst to join our Finance team as a core business partner to the Growth organization. You will work closely with leaders of Sales, Account Management and Marketing to help Q Finance to deliver real-time insights and analysis on the health of the business that will influence strategic business planning. You will be a thought leader in how data is used at Q, with a focus on ensuring all business teams are leveraging data in a consistent and accurate manner. About you:

  • You have a general zest for revenue (planning, reporting, analyzing) and are looking for a role that offers significant business partnering opportunities and exposure to all levels of the organization
  • You love data and are interested in helping design reporting systems to ensure accuracy

  • You enjoy leading cross-functional projects from conception to completion and delivering key takeaways
  • You have strong communication skills, are highly organized, and can juggle working on multiple projects at once

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop weekly reporting to provide ongoing trend analysis and insight to Growth management and Q leadership
  • Leverage a data-driven approach and business partner collaboration to drive effective business planning exercises
  • Lead high impact projects for Growth leadership that will dictate investment areas and organizational setup
  • Assess and implement a financial planning tool to facilitate decentralized planning capabilities and shift time spent from creating reports (the “what”) to delivering insights (the “why”)
  • Own tracking and reporting on commissions for sales and account management
  • Analyze sales and account management activities and metrics to identify areas for improved efficiencies and accelerated growth
  • Become an expert in the sales opportunity lifecycle, with an in-depth understanding of how teams and systems interact to convert opportunities into revenue

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional experience, including experience in a sales operations or finance role with a focus on supporting sales teams
  • Degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred
  • Preference given to experience in SaaS companies, or B2B, subscription businesses
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM system is preferred, including familiarity with report building and understanding Salesforce opportunity workflows
  • Experience using Looker or Tableau reporting tools and foundational SQL query writing
  • Comfort level partnering directly with senior leaders and experience working cross-functionally
