What we do:

  • Partner with CRO, CCO and COO organizations to achieve Objectives and Key Results
  • Deal Desk support: Provide analytical rigor and tracking for complex contract negotiations
  • New Iniatives and Ad Hoc Analyses: Support accelerating revenue growth and decision-making


What you'll do:
The Sales Finance & Strategy team is looking for a high performer to help drive finance & strategy for the North America region.

  • Strategic planning for the Sales and Client services organization to identify key operating levers, create insightful reports, and work with the BI team to build reports and automate dashboards.
  • Build complex models from scratch to support contract negotiations in partnership with Sales and Inventory leaders to convey meaningful insights.


Who you are:
We are looking for an experienced professional who has the ability to own complex projects end-to-end, can project manage cross-functionally as well as communicates confidently with a wide range of stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who has a commercial mind and enjoys problem solving, dealing with ambiguity, and driving continuous improvement with a keen eye for detail.

  • 8+ years of finance experience from investment banking, management consulting, Strategic Planning, FP&A
  • BA/BS and/or MBA/MS degree in finance, business, accounting, economics or related field
  • Knowledge of or prior experience in programmatic advertising or internet a plus
  • Building detailed financial models that provide insights that are easy to digest
  • Strong project management skills with experience in collaborating cross-functionally
  • Excellent communicator (both written and verbal), with the ability to present to senior management in a clear, concise manner
  • Intellectually curious, proactively learns and teaches others how changing industry forces impact KPIs and OKRs through well-thought-out presentations
  • Implement processes and build reports by working Business Intelligence and Sys Eng partners
  • Exceptional analytical acumen, mastery of Microsoft Excel and creating reports
  • High personal and professional integrity with a can-do attitude, desire to roll up your sleeves and an ability to deliver outstanding work product

Our Compensation and Benefits ( for NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only)
At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is
$96,500 -$176,900
In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
