CardFlight is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance and Strategy team. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Senior Director of Finance and Strategy to setup and maintain systems of accounting and reporting and will be responsible for all major reporting and reconciliation duties.

This position reports to the Senior Director of Finance and Strategy.

What You’ll Do:

Accounting (70%)

• Client billing and related communication
• Manage A/R and A/P
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements
• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
• Perform and/or review other areas of monthly close including, but not limited to, prepaids, accruals, inventory and other assets
• Own all annual audit activities

Ad Hoc Data Analysis (10%)

• Compile internal and external financial data requests
• Produce ad-hoc analysis for the Finance and Strategy team and management

Diligence (10%)

• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Track diligence items (e.g., insurance, investor docs, leases, etc.)

Team Engagement (10%)

• Become immersed in the payments industry
• Get involved with company-wide meetings and outings
• Obtain and maintain a full understanding of our clients’ needs

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

• At least 4+ years of general accounting experience
• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting

• Strong knowledge of SaaS-related accounting standards
• CPA License
