What you’ll do:

• Month-end closings: Assist with the accurate and timely close of the financial statements in compliance with US GAAP 
• Assist on upcoming ERP implementation
• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice creation, entry and payments
• Regularly maintain detailed analysis, explanations and reconciliations of all accounts
• Help to build, implement, and drive new accounting processes that help us scale
• Support budget and forecasting activities
• Assist with the annual audits (external) - help develop flowcharts, narratives, roll forward schedules, and accounting technical memos as needed; comply with audit timelines
• Research on technical taxes, accounting and reporting issues

What we’re looking for:

• SaaS accounting experience: Strong understanding of ASC 606, Revenue Recognition, Deferred Revenue, Accrued Revenue
• 2+ years of internal accounting experience within a software or technology company with similar accounting practices
• 2+ years of public accounting experience
• Advanced degree in Accounting; strong preference for CPA
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel (including Vlookup formulas)
• Proficiency in recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions for A/P, A/R, fixed assets, debt, budgets, general ledger, purchasing, month-end, and year-end close cycles, payroll, corporate taxes and sales and use tax
• Advanced research and analysis skills for financial and operating data
