Responsibilities
Prepare monthly payroll journal entries for Global Payroll.
Accounting for international (non-US) payroll, which involves interpreting labor laws in the regions.
Collaborate with Payroll Operations team to understand underlying transactions and ensure proper posting to Workday ERP system.
Assist in preparing annual reconciliations, including inventory reconciliations, for external auditors and year-end close.
Partner with Finance team to investigate and reconcile variances in financials.
Work with payroll management on projects to develop automated/future-state processes.
Work with global cost center managers to field inquiries regarding compensation expense.
Collaborate with Benefits team to reconcile the various benefit liabilities and perform variance analysis on the benefit expenses.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
2+ years of experience in Accounting
Prior Big 4 experience a plus
CPA preferred
Proficient in MS Office and Excel
Workday experience preferred
Strong organizational skills
