What you’ll do:

  • Position will report to the CFO
  • Position will supervise staff and senior accountants
  • Lead the company’s financial year-end audits and manage discussions with auditors and external accounting and tax advisors
  • Assist with preparing tax returns and corporate reporting requirements
  • Monitor cash balances
  • Prepare & review monthly account reconciliations
  • Manage employee expense report and reimbursement process
  • Assist with preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements
    • Including but not limited to: equity accounting, consolidation across all international entities, and tax accounting
  • Analyze revenues and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis
  • Perform operational analysis as directed by management
  • Evaluate current processes and controls and implement improvements
    • Document policies and procedures
    • Create consistency in accounting processes across all international entities
  • Other projects as assigned

What we’re looking for:

Must-haves:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Active CPA license
  • Public Accounting experience at a Big 4 accounting firm
  • Strong understanding of accounting theory
  • 10+ years accounting/finance experience
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and adept at researching accounting rules and boiling them down to the impact on the company’s financials
  • Strong Excel skills, including data tables, pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.
  • Familiarity with online accounting software, Intacct experience a plus
  • Highly detail oriented and organized in work
  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external constituents to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.
