You are passionate about financial news, international relations, politics, macroeconomics, technology, and have high journalism standards! You are a highly motivated individual who can (1) monitor and analyze the quality of our data feeds and signals; (2) keep up-to-date on key financial news developments and assess the impact of real-time Dataminr signals.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Deep understanding of financial news as it relates to global corporations
• Ability to monitor and analyze data quickly
• Comprehensive understanding of geopolitics and how it intertwines with financial markets
• Experience in a real-time/breaking news environment
• Excellent editing, writing, grammar and proofreading skills
• Passion for technology, world news and current events
• Strong grasp of social media as it relates to world news and current events
• Mature and calm attitude to address personnel and editorial issues in a real-time environment
• Self-motivation and an ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Fluency in English required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
