Senior FP&A Analyst

Alma is seeking a mission-driven Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing Finance team. Reporting to our Senior FP&A Manager, and working closely with the full finance and accounting teams, you will collaborate across the entire organization, and will have the opportunity to inform and influence strategic business decisions. You will play a critical role in helping build the foundation for developing actionable insights to take our company to the next level. This individual will have demonstrated success in a hyper-growth startup and thrives working in a fast paced environment.
What you’ll do:
- Prepare monthly reporting packages for internal business leaders and for our investors
- Participate in budgeting and reforecasting processes, gaining exposure to the full P&L
- Partner with Data Engineering to build dashboards and fulfill data requests
- Build relationships with senior leaders throughout the organization and provide support to help the team meet and exceed their goals
- Partner with all teams to manage monthly spend
- Partner with the Accounting team to build trusted financial reporting systems and internal processes
- Assist with the implementation of new tools (FP&A software, ERP system, etc)
- Deliver on ad hoc projects (pricing, partnerships, etc)
Who you are:
- You have 2-3 years of experience in a hyper growth startup
- You are passionate about mental healthcare and expanding access to it
- You have excellent Excel skills, experience with Looker and other BI tools, and have the ability to quickly learn new financial applications and systems
- You are passionate about instituting new processes and implementing the latest technology in a fast paced, data-driven environment
- You have sound written and verbal communication skills, as you will be partnering with our senior leadership and external partners
- You may have SQL experience (not required, but helpful)
