We’re looking for an FP&A Manager at ClassPass to drive critical analysis and forecasting that will inform the company’s most important strategic decisions. You’ll oversee the full company operating model and financial forecast, affording you with 360-degree insight into all facets of the business. You’ll become the in-house expert on trends in recent financial performance and will work cross-functionally to evaluate the potential impacts of operational changes, new product launches, and key investment decisions on our financial performance. Our ideal candidate will have a consistent track record of managing complex analyses in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and will bring exceptional business judgment and problem solving skills to the role.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage full company operating model and multi-year P&L forecast across all SKUs including new product and market launches
  • Produce monthly and quarterly financial performance reports to be distributed to executive team and Board of Directors; produce materials for Board meetings
  • Conduct analysis to identify root causes of recent trends in financial performance and develop recommendations on policy, program or operational responsive actions
  • Drive cross-functional programs on behalf of Finance function to improve company financial performance; size and prioritize opportunities and coordinate across the organization to drive execution
  • Work with leaders across the company to manage budgets and forecasts, and to analyze financial implications of strategic and operational decisions
  • Spearhead analysis to inform decisions on M&A, partnerships and other strategic opportunities
  • Conduct research on competitors and market trends

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years experience in management consulting, investment banking, PE/VC, or in an analytics, corporate finance or FP&A role at a tech or rapidly scaling company
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills; experience with SQL preferred
  • Strong quantitative orientation (as evidenced by academic coursework or prior quantitative job experience)
  • Excellent written and visual communication skills; experience clearly communicating analytical insights via slides and written summaries
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a flexible, team-oriented attitude
