About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead our Revenue FP&A team supporting Finance leadership. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, this role is a critical and highly visible role within FP&A where you will lead the planning & analysis of the company’s top-line Revenue growth and enable educated decision-making, budget control, and ongoing monitoring. You will have exposure with executive leadership (CFO, CEO, CRO), lead a team of analysts, and work closely with key stakeholders to provide financial insights into decisions to drive Riskified’s growth and profitability.
We are looking for a leader with well-rounded Finance experience, ideally in FP&A or Strategic Finance, & with a strong desire to grow and learn with the company and team. The ideal candidate has keen analytical skills, strong financial and presentation acumen, ability to collaborate cross-functionally, and prioritize multiple deliverables in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead Revenue planning and forecasting activities for short term (monthly/quarterly) & long term (annual budget, 3 yr plan) deliverables
- Revenue Monitoring - provide actuals vs projections variance analysis
- Develop financial/KPI reporting packages and guide insight on performance across multiple dimensions
- Build financial forecasts, track performance and understand deviations from actuals to drive strategy and operational rigor
- Work on ad-hoc projects and prepare strategic analysis and presentations for finance leadership
- Work closely with GTM, Sales and Marketing leadership to review & analyze sales pipeline, GTM strategy, regional and market expansion, TAM/SAM analysis
- Lead Process Improvement in relation to weekly/monthly/quarterly key FP&A deliverables
- Gain deep knowledge and understanding of Riskified’s business performance across geographies and merchant types
Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience including experience within FP&A, investment banking, management consulting, or business insights / analytics roles and ideally more recent experience in Revenue FP&A or Strategic functions at a high-growth company. (2-3 years in management roles is a plus)
- Experience with Revenue modeling & forecasting, particularly within a SaaS or Usage-based business
- Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to guide and influence senior leadership
- Relationship building with executive leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business (MBA is a plus)
- Advanced Excel / G-suite knowledge
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure, collaborate cross-functionally, and prioritize multiple deliverables in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
The base salary range for this position is $145,000- $ 180,000. This range is applicable to candidates who will perform the job either wholly, or in part, within New York City.
