As a Senior Analyst on the Strategic Finance team, you'll become a trusted business partner for the Marketplace team within our Consumer organization, including evaluating new Marketplace partnerships through our cross-functional deal desk.
You will lead data analysis and data-driven decision-making, supporting the broader budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes alongside the rest of the Finance team. You will be looked to by the organization as someone that understands key drivers of the business and how decisions will impact the business.
What you'll do
As a Senior Analyst, you will:

• Partner closely with our Inventory Management team, evaluating new business initiatives and partnerships with financial models supported by internal and market data
• Relentlessly pursue a deeper understanding of business drivers, including tracking variances from expectations, digging deep into the whys and implications on the future
• Lead the financial forecast, budgeting, and reporting processes for our Marketplace team
• Partner with Marketplace leads to create opex budgets and hiring plans

Who you are

• 3-5 years of relevant experience, with 2+ years of FP&A or Investment Banking experience preferred
• Experience partnering with Sales teams on deal evaluation and translating contractual language into financial models
• Working knowledge of GAAP and a strong grasp on revenue recognition principles
• Mastery of financial modeling (3-statement, NPV, M&A) and spreadsheet functionality
• Advanced understanding of relational databases and BI tool functionality
• Strong project manager, capable of conceiving and executing projects independently, with minimal oversight from manager
