We are looking for a Senior Manager, Payroll to join our Accounting team. You will be responsible for payroll processing, month-end closing and analytics, state/local/federal payroll and benefit filings, and coordination of employee W2 reporting. The Senior Manager will support standard methodologies, drive new initiatives, and collaborate with internal business partners. You should be a self-starting, resourceful, well-organized teammate with the ability to work well under pressure, maintain a positive attitude, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.

What you’ll do:

• Partner with Vimeo Human Resources to lead the Hire to Retire process for Payroll, adhering to internal controls
• Lead company transition from ADP handled to UltiPro for payroll processing. Document all new processes/procedures put in place
• Lead payroll processing function including: bi-weekly payments, processing equity awards, ensuring accurate benefit deductions, garnishments, banking, tracking/reporting of local/state/federal requirements
• Run payroll accounting function including: monthly close journal entries, vacation accruals, and balance sheet recs
• Ensure all local statutory payroll and fringe benefit reporting requirements are met; Maintain and track Tax and Filing notices outsourced to payroll vendor
• Oversee reporting and reconciliation of federal, state and local payroll taxes. C payroll system deductions, researching payroll tax rules for new jurisdictions, ensuring payroll system appropriately files on our behalf, and be responsible for the annual W-2 process
• Lead global payroll service providers, communicate changes for international employees and have a basic understanding of global privacy regulations (i.e. GDPR)
• Provide prompt, professional, and efficient customer service to employees who have questions regarding their pay, deductions, paid leave balances and other payroll-related questions

Skills and knowledge you should possess:

• Strong functional Payroll knowledge and a minimum of 7 years’ experience in a large payroll department processing North American payroll
• BS Degree in Accounting, CPA, FPC, CPP preferred
• Knowledge of withholding tax, related tax filings, tax policy and employment regulations as they relate to reporting requirements
• Ability to analyze and interpret payroll data. Understanding of multi-jurisdiction, employee equity transactions and/or deferrals
• Understanding of payroll journal entries and accounting process, including balance sheet reconciliations
• Must have proven ability to multitask, be focused on the details, and provide strong customer service
• Excellent problem-solving skills with proven ability to investigate and identify system issues and problems
• Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential
• Experience using UKG Ultimate Software (UltiPro) and UltiPro Time Maintenance for payroll processing a plus
• Payroll system migration experience a plus
