The Role:

Yotpo’s Staff Accountant will be integral to our company’s continued growth. This role will focus on recurring billing operation, and also be responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and more.

You will be part of Yotpo’s global finance team, and your responsibilities will include billing procedures as well as other A/R & Revenues related functions and systems, including cross departmental work on the processing of new sales and renewals, related clients’ requests and collection recording and monitoring.

Billing & Collection:

  • Oversee and streamline billing process, for multiple currencies and entities, both domestic and foreign
  • Process new and recurring customer contracts, ensuring they are inserted correctly into the different billing systems
  • Open and maintain new client matters in database
  • Track accounts receivables and coordinate collection efforts with partner(s) of delinquent accounts
  • Review new and updated billing instructions from clients and ensure that adherence to the guidelines
  • Document within reporting systems new client requests (e.g. billing formats, payment terms, payment days, billing contact, cancellations, offering changes), communicating changes with Finance, Sales and Customer Service teams
  • Set up and maintain cross-departmental billing summary spreadsheets with product services team to monitor and follow up on complex contracts


Accounts Payable and other tasks:

  • Manage vendors’ payments according to company’s payment cycles, making sure all payments information is recorded correctly in database and submitted within deadlines
  • Review, record, and manage the expenses process for all employees including but not limited to travel, business trips, hotels, cars, events and conferences
  • Gather claims and monitor processing for reimbursement, ensuring timely processing and that all necessary documentation and attachments are included with claims and limits aren’t surpassed
  • Assist employees with basic payroll inquiries concerning calculations around commissions, benefits and taxes
  • Reinforce existing financial policies, establishing new policies when needed for better internal control
  • Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • General accounting/finance background
  • Comfort operating autonomously
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting
  • Proficient in MS Office / Google Sheets
  • C.P.A preferred
  • Experience with a recurring billing software such as Chargify or Zuora - preferred and a big plus!
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • A valid U.S. work authorization
