Snappy is a rapid growth company in the corporate gifting space using technology to displace decades of legacy process. We are currently looking for a high performing Staff Accountant to help us scale Snappy’s Accounting and Finance functions.

As a successful Staff Accountant at Snappy, you will:

- Own the monthly billing process by ensuring timely and accurate invoicing to customers

- Work cross functionally with sales and operations to ensure proper invoicing to customers

- Ensure accuracy of sales tax charged to customers and assist in regular sales tax filings

- Process payables and review and classify credit card activity

- Facilitate period-end closings by ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all responsibilities

- Contribute to preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows)

- Assist with financial statement audits and tax filings

- Other projects as assigned

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting

- 1-2+ years U.S. GAAP accounting experience

- Knowledge of accounts receivable cycle

- Exceptional analytical and communication skills and ability to interact with customers

- Experience with financial reporting and financial statement preparation

- Self-starter who possesses a sense of urgency and an ability to prioritize, multi- task and meet deadlines

- Skilled in Microsoft Excel

- Experience working with Netsuite is a plus
